More and more states are being confronted with inadequately funded public employee pensions. Millions of families across our country will be affected. The Extreme Right's ALEC, a "legislative council" which sets the agenda for GOP dominated state legislatures across the U.S., is touting pension "reform" at the top of their "to do " list. This article talks about the effects of one option being promoted as a possible solution. It isn't. While we can certainly agree that something has to be done about underfunded pensions, putting Wall Street shills in charge of "reform" is like sending the proverbial fox to guard the hen house.
